This course examines the key areas relating to everyday health and safety practice in schools. It focuses on explaining not only the employer's responsibilities, but also the responsibilities of the employees towards the employer and towards one another.
It examines the major concepts in health and safety and explains the terminology and provides guidelines for good practice by relating the concepts to everyday activities. It provides structures to encourage you to examine your own role in assessing the school's health and safety culture and how you can promote a positive approach to health and safety in your workplace. It provides practical guidance and advice to enable individuals to approach risk assessment confidently and use this as an aid in planning activities.
