Dai Durbridge, Partner, Browne Jacobson LLP
Dai is a Partner in the Education team at Browne Jacobson. Dai specialises in advising schools and academies on all pastoral education issues, including admissions, exclusions, parental complaints, use of force and searching pupils. A recognised safeguarding expert, he regularly supports schools on complex safeguarding issues including handling disclosures of abuse, managing allegations against staff and parental consent.

He started the business in 2009 and has developed 9ine into the leading independent technology management consultacy practice supporting schools in the UK and internationally. The practice provides IT strategy, operations, project management, data protection, safeguarding and cybersecurity services. Working with clients in the UK, Ireland, France, Switzerland and Italy, 9ine are supporting education organisations and the leading education technology channel in understanding and preparing for their obligations under the GDPR.

Caroline Collins, FISBL
Specialist Leader of Education, Head of School Business Strategy & Resources, Miles Coverdale Primary School
Caroline has been head of School Business at Miles Coverdale Primary School for seven years and works closely with the SLT and govenors on a daily basis. Prior to this Caroline worked in Govenor Services at a large LA where she advised Govenors, Heads and Clerks on discharging their statutory duties and wrote a number of guidance publications. Caroline recently wrote an online training programme for Optimus Education, helping school leaders to embed a GDPR culture within their school.
Audrey Olden, DPO, VIVID
Audrey's previous role included being the DPO for VIVID, the largest provider of affordable housing in hampshire. Prior to working for VIVID Audrey worked as DPO for First Wessex, and was involoved in supporting both First Wessex and Sentinel Housing through their amalgamation to ensure they maintained data protection compliance but also developed the foundations to ensure the new company, VIVID were preparing for the then upcoming GDPR. Previous to that, Audrey worked in Information Compliance for Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service where she was the lead on Data Protection, Freedom of Information and Environmental Information Regulations. Since June 2018 Audrey has also been a Senior Consultant — data protection for 9ine Consulting.
