This unit develops a shared understanding of what constitutes bullying behaviour and different types of prejudice-based bullying. This is vital to developing confidence among staff to tackle bullying incidents and having consistency of approach. It also addresses how to recognise the signs that someone is being bullied to encourage staff to combat bullying proactively.
Trigger warning – this unit includes the prevalence of suicide and self-harm in relation to bullying. Please practise due care, as some of the content may be distressing.
