Bite-size training units are each based on an area of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, to ensure that you know how to meet the standards for learning, development and care of children under five.
The training is interactive to allow participants to put their learning into practice and to enable them to reflect on this. Each unit includes ‘follow on’ activities to embed the learning further.
Aims and outcomes
This training unit is based on a specific area of the early learning goals. It is intended to be used by leaders in early years settings to enable early years professionals to:
- raise standards of provision
- inform their setting’s self-evaluation process
- demonstrate aspects of leadership and management required for early years teacher status.
