ways to give confidence to non-specialists.

Aims and outcomes

Understand why careers education is important and how it can fit into the whole school curriculum.
Understand that opportunities for careers education happen in a wide range of settings.
Support an audit of your current careers education offering, retaining elements that work and changing or disposing of ineffective sessions.
Improve careers education sessions or fill gaps in learning by providing fresh ideas and links to cost-effective teaching.
Help school leaders to support teachers who are non-specialists in careers education.
