Both under- and over-arousal (hypo and hyper) can lead to information processing problems. When we consider the importance of arousal in emotional and behavioural regulation, we need to understand that the ‘internal world’ of the person does impact on their day-to-day behaviour.

This unit looks at arousal and emotional regulation, together with gaining an understanding of the importance of reflective practice as part of the wider understanding.
