Use this checklist to help ensure you stay on top of tasks for finance, HR, premises and ICT, data and admin.

Key tasks

  • Complete end of quarter accounts (maintained schools) or submit budget forecast return (academies).
  • Update MIS to reflect leavers and new starters for September.
  • Complete sickness absence return and update headteacher re staff approaching stage 1 or stage 2. 
  • Ensure all maintenance inspections due have been conducted and the findings recorded.
  • Review staff induction pack and ensure it's ready for September starters.
  • Create and submit transfer files for new and departing pupils.
