Richard Sutton, Education Advisor, Lead Ofsted Inspector, Staff Trainer and Leadership Coach

Richard has 31 years' experience of working in schools. He has 12 years' experience as a headteacher and deputy headteacher. For the past ten years, Richard has been providing school improvement advice to a wide range of primary, secondary and all through schools across the country and internationally. Richard has been a lead inspector since 2010. He provides leadership coaching to middle and senior leaders and works as a school improvement partner in secondary and primary schools. His particular areas of interest are mathematics, music, performing arts, leadership at all levels and strategies to improve outcomes for disadvantaged pupils.

Andrew Moffat MBE, CEO of No Outsiders, Personal Development Lead for Excelsior Multi-Academy Trust

Andrew Moffat is the author of “No Outsiders in our school: Teaching the Equality Act in primary schools” (2015) and “No Outsiders: Everyone different, everyone welcome” (2020). He has been teaching since 1996 and is currently Personal Development Lead for Excelsior Multi Academy Trust. In 2017, Andrew was awarded an MBE for services to equality and diversity in education. In 2019, he was listed as a top 10 finalist in the Varkey Foundation Global Teacher prize. Following protests against Andrew and his equality work in 2019, he was named “Role Model of the year” by Pink News and “Hero of the year” by the European Diversity Awards. In 2019 he was awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Worcester. He is studying part time for a PhD at the University of Birmingham and is a visiting professor at the University of Sunderland. Andrew is CEO of the No Outsiders charity www.no-outsiders.com
