Andy Bloor
Andy Bloor started his career in secondary education and moved into pastoral work before making the transition into local authority advisory work in primary, including working in a successful multi-disciplinary Early Intervention Team in West London. Here, Andy was part of the borough’s ADHD Steering Group.
In 2009 Andy made the transition into higher education and currently works as a Senior Lecturer in Primary Education at Canterbury Christ Church University, where he leads on primary special educational needs/disabilities, inclusion and diversity. Andy has also lectured nationally and internationally on ADHD to clinicians across Europe.
Andy is a member of the executive of the Social Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties Association (SEBDA) and on the editorial board of the journals Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties and ADHD in Practice.
