Why is this conference relevant?

Children in special needs education face £1.6bn cash shortfall - The Guardian, 2018

Children with special educational needs and disabilities are being continually let down by their local authorities due to insufficient funding. As more SEND pupils move into mainstream education, teachers are under more pressure than ever to integrate and accommodate pupils with complex needs.

This conference will allow delegates the chance to take away practical strategies to help manage the increasing pressure on SEN departments, giving staff confidence in effective teaching to SEND pupils.

What can I expect?

You can expect in-depth keynotes with leading experts and a choice of practical workshops including:

  • insight on how to build a rich and inclusive curriculum
  • strategies for creating a well-crafted and impactful EHCP
  • take accountability for SEND pupils by creating a whole school approach to learning
  • parental engagement ideas that are built on trust and honesty.

Who should attend?

  • SENCOs
  • Headteachers
  • Assistant Headteachers
  • Deputy Headteachers
  • Teaching Assistants
