Peter Atherton, Chief Data Officer, Minsthorpe Community College

Peter has lead on data at Minsthorpe Community College, Wakefield since 2012 and has over fifteen years' experience in analysing data. Peter is a keen believer in supporting education strategy through effective data management and sharing of good practice which he advocates through his blog at www.minsthorpedata.com.


Rebecca St John, School Data Consultant and Trainer

Rebecca is a school data specialist and experienced trainer working with schools through a range of bodies including ASCL, FFT and GL education. She started out as data manager in a large secondary school, and more recently she was Principal Consultant for SISRA Ltd. She has a particulr interest in making sure that assessment data leads directly to impact in the classroom, and improvement of outcomes for all students.


Jo Hockton, Data Manager, Sponne School

Jo has worked in school data management for 11 years, developing systems, embedding good practice and ensuring that data supports every student in reaching their full potential. Jo works with other schools, training on the use of data to set targets, support intervention and engage all stakeholders.


Claire Gadsby, Education Consultant, Trainer and Author

As a teaching and learning consultant and trainer with more than 20 years of classroom experience, Claire now works with more than 100 schools a year to raise achievement. Much of her work involves working alongside teachers in classrooms where she recommends and demonstrates innovative teaching and learning strategies across the cirriculum and in all phases of education. Claire has produced materials for the Secondary National Strategy and Oxford University Press.


 

Damian Haigh, Director of Research, Wilmslow High School

Damian Haigh is Director of Research at Wilmslow High School, Cheshire. He also works for the Aspirer Research School as an Evidence Lead for Education and is a member of the AQA Expert Panel for Mathematics. He has been a school leader for 11 years, before which he led a mathematics team. 


Shane Richardson, Vice Principal, Co-op Academy Stoke-on-Trent

Shane's career has spanned 14 years and he has held a variety of roles in that time. Begining his career as an English teacher in North Yorkshire, he soon became an Advanced Skills Teacher. From there, he took up a role in Cheshire. As Head of English, he guided an inadequate department to outstanding in three years, culminating in students making progress in the top 5% of students nationally.



Emily Sutton, Online Sales and Marketing Team Lead, Egress Software Technologies

Emily has a keen interest in cybersecurity, and has worked for Egress for over 2 years. Emily specialises in helping smaller organisations share their sensitive data securely, particularly over email. Egress' mission is to provide its customers with leading-edge and innovative encryption services that focuses on the user and provides users with the tools they need to share sensitive information securely.
